“Dancing ‘n Eden” is a bright, playful oil painting featuring a herd of elk dancing in a mountain meadow. Bold brush strokes, electric color, and gestural shapes, are strong characteristics of the painting. In my oil painting practice, I have continued to push myself to divert from the photo reference to intern discover new colors and shapes, which is challenging, but oh so rewarding. I hope you can feel a playful sense of joy, and an appreciation for the beauty of nature, in “Dancing ‘n Eden”.
